I've been a RapFag since '83, and this post is spot on IMO with the exception that I will say that while PAC was engineered, as all artists are, "Thug Life" was going to be about inner city gardens and black owned banks and other things of that nature. I'm not saying PAC was someone to look up to, or that most of his music can even be classified as redeemable, much less good, but he had a vision for the black community and his mom was a legit Black Panther, Pac had real clout, much like Nas.
God…If only he could be here shit posting, I'm sure he'd be going wild.
