Consider the source of the news you use, view, etc. . News that is backed up by multiple sources, especially not just US based outlets, is somewhat trustworthy. Much of the daily MSM in the US especially, is at the very least shifted to the reporters favorite way of viewing news.
Not ignoring, but being an informed consumer of news.
