Translation: woman is saying, I'm not worthy. Jesus says Jews are saying salvation is through them, but in truth, salvation is through faith in God the Spirit, not the Jews.

He establishes early on that he's not only speaking to the phags, but the regular Jews following him too. But the regulars Jews argue they are the seed of Abraham, so they don't have to follow the ways of God.
Jesus sets them straight.
