didn't vote this year. I don't live in a swing state, Trump won here handily.
I knew I should pull a lever, but I have been so burned that I felt like I wanted to sit 2020 out. I have been here for 3+ years so I knew how important it was but asked for a raincheck.
I was very wrong about Obama and am honestly terrified to repeat the hope -vote -> complete disenfranchisement progression so I just abstained.
I appreciate the founding fathers' sentiment but I am not in a space in my life where I can be distracted from my family.
