Watch this movie sometime: We Were Strangers from 1949.

"In 1930's Cuba, a bank clerk and an American mercenary assist a revolutionary group in a plan to kill the President but the Cuban Secret Police chief and the dictator's military complicate the plan's execution."

It's chilling how many things are predicted, right down to the bankers giving over client information to government thugs.

Many of us here saw the set up coming from miles (months) away. Then you have idiots pulling out assault weapons on podcasts telling their minions they are street fighters with top secret info waiting for Pompeo tweets to get closer together as a go order. What do you expect?

Welp, you'll no doubt get a lot of flak for asking because that's how it goes down here when anyone asks the questions you are asking.

Here's my take: It's about thinking for yourself. Looking for yourself. Independence. Freedom to have your own thoughts and ideas. Digging for buried things and then questioning why they are buried and who buried them. Q stands for question. Question everything. As a community, we share what we find. That's what it achieves. That's the point. It's a never-ending, life-long Quest.

Maybe but having thought about this many times, I still lean toward leaving it the way it is. It's like trying to rewrite the Big Book to "modernize" the language or something. You know, wives. It's not sacred, but sort of. I am not sure I trust anyone to change it, either.

I think the struggle for 50 states to be "United" is done. Let each state regroup and get away from this bloated federal government. Basically, people want a safe, clean, affordable place to live. Look at any large Dem city and you have the exact opposite. How is that ever going to be reconciled? It won't. Break it up. Let each state vote to stay in the Federal system or leave it. Then the Governors can provide for their state's own safety. People are already moving from California, Illinois, New York, and New Jersey and ruining Texas and Florida.
