Naive Christians think they'll wake up one morning and there will be an email telling them to come on in for their mark of the beast. And they'll bravely say, no way, I'll die first.
Reality is they're already on the slide to getting it. Most people make so many compromises along the way, when the big one comes, it's just a natural progression. They'll die for their faith, sure. They won't let their kids die in front of them.
