Those I know are aware it’s different, acting via mRNA. I know at least one friend would rather get Sputnik, as that is a standard or typical vaccine as we’ve always understood the term

 

But the doctors and pharmacists I know cannot wait to get their jabs. Even with all the anecdotal accounts of some people needing to take a day or two off work after the second dose.

We’ve just been told we’re staying in lockdown until after Easter. Plus airlines on the radio this morning saying they may stop flights in out of the country if fines get levied.

 

Seriously wondering will I buy a small bluewater boat and brush off the sextant. I bought this years tables. Dunno if they’d let a yacht prep and leave port at this stage though.

 

At least you have people awake on the US. Only a small number of us in my country, and everyone seems to have a different angle or agenda - some who seemed more awake are now saying thank goodness the vaccines are here. Be careful who you follow has never rung more true.

 

Feeling so tired today.

The first death occurred on 1 November. Total deaths rose to six by 22 December. New variant (B.1.1.7.) arrived, then vaccinations started around January 10th, now seeing a rise in deaths - by 30 January 2021, COVID–19 mortality on the Rock rose to 75.
