A conservative friend called me to ask about my take on the impeachment debacle, for the second successive day. "It looks like he's losing, I don't know what to think."
"What is it you think he is losing? 45 of the jurors voted that the whole process is not Constitutional, and therefore corrupt, are you saying that you think at least 12 of those 45 will now vote to convict? Really? The outcome is known, there will be no conviction, no censure, no pre-emptive strike to keep him from ever running again. This is obviously kabuki theater, this is the only way to fan the TDS flame now that he is not in office."
"Yeah, but it looks bad."
"How so? If they have to cry about their dead offspring that were not even alive on Jan. 6, they obviously don't have any substance."
