Judge Sullivan has semi-retired taken 'senior status' and remains active as a federal judge. He also chairs committees that contribute to recommendations for presidential appointments to courts in DC.

Q 4770 hinted that public info would come out that would result in Sullivan stepping down by March 2021. That info would be about possible co-operation between Sullivan and the Mueller operation.

Today is 11 Feb 2021. Only 17 days left in February this year.

They are stuck on stoopid. First, to make such an offer. Second to consider or be open to such an offer – looks bad whether or not actually take the offer. Third, to go through with it, if accepted, on public stage.
