Found a 2017 Forbes article that explains why Delaware is so important in the corporate world. Having no experience in such things, this Anon has to take Forbes' word for it. Maybe financially savvy Anon's can make some good use of this article. It discuses Delaware as the incorporation home of nearly one million business entities. It states that Delaware is known as the corporate capital of the US, if not the world and has a business court known as the Delaware Court of Chancery. In 2017 Delaware was home to more than half of the publicly traded companies in the US. With GME and other short stocks in the news lately, Anon suspects that the Delaware Court of Chancery may soon find its way into the news.
