I'd have to say that it 's rather unfair that the spendthrifts who had to mortage their futures should get 50000 dolla and 2,000 per month (as the baldress would have it, someone sname Adrianna?)
the cancelation of debt is problematic.
If 50000 is to be dispatched it 'cover' the debt it should NOT go to profit anyone's pension fund, or bond issue.
and the same amount should be granted to everyone to cancel whatever debt they have too, so if yo own a house (paid too much) it goes to pay down that.
and it would have to be applied to debt first.
if someone is debt free, then they get their rolls of silver eagles, gold eagles, put in their name, or mialed to their depository (maybe their own house).
those who are in debt would be freed of debt.
those who are out of debt would be given the same benifit.
IT"S ONLY FAIR.
that's why it's a nonstarter. they will never give reward to the hard workers who have no debt.
furthermore the 'subsidy' of interest for home mortgages should go to pay down the mortgage, instead of being used as a boondoggle to lower the taxes.
