God was referring to unjust judging.

The Scriptures instruct judging must be done justly,

and to be just,

judging was to be according to God's Laws,

called euphemistically,

"Moses Seat".

When the Pharisees judged according to their traditions and extraneous laws,

the very same ones Jesus rebuked,

this was unjust judgment,

under which they had sent many to their death,

or applied steep penalties,

making many homeless,

among whom were the widows and orphans of those whom they executed or imprisoned.

Doing this proved they were wolves in sheep's clothing.
