By impeaching him, they would front-run the possibility of him taking office and make sure it wouldn't go smoothly. Just hedging their bets. He'd be "illegitimate" and the same bullshit that went down in the 1st term starts again.

Other possibility is to takeout a Trump family dynasty. Both dems and pubs would want to be in that food fight. Just look at the usual pub characters bum-rushing the MSM cameras.

Critters just "voted" that their trial was "constitutional", which I don't believe is in their "purview", but what do I know. Apparently they think they're the only branch of government that matters.
