Interesting symbolism in the Bruce Springsteen/JEEP commercial from the Super Bowl no one watched.

 

It's a load of tripe with phrases such as

 

"the middle has been a hard place to get to lately"

"freedom does not just belong to the fortunate few. It belongs to us all"

"we need the middle"

 

But the words are hollow and meaningless. As uber-leftist-member-of-the-elite Springsteen spouts his scripted cringe, the dying light gives way to darkness.

 

Symbolism always speaks louder than words.

In post-Trump America, the elites are letting us know they're putting the lid on the awakening we've been championing. They're mocking our
