The Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker is a military aerial refueling aircraft. Both the KC-135 and the Boeing 707 airliner were developed from the Boeing 367-80 prototype. It is the predominant variant of the C-135 Stratolifter family of transport aircraft. The KC-135 was the US Air Force's first jet-powered refueling tanker and replaced the KC-97 Stratofreighter. The KC-135 was initially tasked with refueling strategic bombers, but was used extensively in the Vietnam War and later conflicts such as Operation Desert Storm to extend the range and endurance of US tactical fighters and bombers.

Ok I don't remember seeing so many KR35's at once.

8 up east of Mississippi. And 4 flew into New Brunswick. If all those are needed for refueling - then we are NOT seeing a lot of planes.

Those 4 flew same path as the Germans toward EU, Globemaster came back but they did not.

They appear to be going somewhere through New Brunswick and disappear.

If those two near Toronto follow the same path there is something very major going on.

Also the one over KS and the USCG plane is just very high.

Most have been KC-135R's. Right now two hugging USA Canada line looks like they may exit via New Brunswick as well.

These two leave USA air space and that will be 6 that have left tonight.

Why would 6 refueling tankers leave in one night toward the EU?

There must be a major operation across the pond that will need a lot of planes that need refueling I guess.

I have another option on why they are flying to EU.

EU called in the loans on them and repossessed them :).
