In regard to that Anon's post, wonder if they're talking about Dan Jones:
Dan Jones Timeline
April 25, 2017: The arrangement between Warren on the Intelligence Committee and Waldman of FusionGPS to have Steele contact Jones directly came to fruition:
Waldman to Warner: I just talked to Chris again. I can't convince him to do a call first. He is under a lot of duress FYI. He said Dan Jones is coming to see you. I suggest you explain to Dan why a call is the necessary first step rather than a letter from your perspective.
Jones had been given $50 million to pay FusionGPS for the effort of impeaching Trump–the Legislative branch cabal against the Executive branch, the President. May 8th, 2017 302 interview notes by the FBI with Bruce Ohr also confirms this connection between the DOJ, the FBI, FusionGPS, and Dan Jones obtained by Judicial Watch. pg 18, 19 of pdf In it Ohr talks about Jones part with Fusion GPS, the filled in portions had been redacted, but with other info available easily filled in:
“and had been on the staff of the [Senate Intelligence Committee]”…. “At the time of the interview [Jones] was working with the [Vice Chairman of the Committee Mark Warner]”… etc.
One can see the redacted portions are efforts to hide the coup and not hiding methods or sources. On page 19, Ohr also mentions to the interviewer (Gaeta? Pientka?) Simpson (owner of Fusion) and Jones seeing Steele at a time after May 8, 2017, and about seeking legal counsel. All this was in preparation of handing over Steele's Dossier over to Mueller, which is why the FBI rehired Steele after having fired him the previous year. Once Mueller took over, the baton was passed to the other members of Deep State while these were in office: the AG and his deputy, Jeff Sessions and Rod Rosenstein; director of FBI and his deputy, Chris Wray and David Bowditch, with Dana Boente the FBI legal counsel. Preparation had also been made by the State Department under Obama giving “classified information” to Senators on the Senate Intelligence Committee hours before Trump took office. According to a FOIA request, among Senators to whom info was passed were Warner, Cardin, and Corker, and this continued after Trump took office. The Senate Intelligence Committee obtained the FISA application for Carter Page on March 17, 2017, according to the stamp mark on the document, delivered to the Senate Security Director, James Wolfe. Wolfe then leaked the info to his reporter girlfriend, Ali Watkins at Buzzfeed, for which he was indicted. Because Wolfe threatened to subpoena the whole committee for his defense for passing secret information, DOJ offered him a deal of being charged only for a single lying offense. In the DOJ sentencing motion made of Dec. 15, 2018, they described in exhibit #13: “because of the known disclosure of classified information, the FISA application”. The plea deal was made to charge him only for lying and not for leaking secret info in order to hide the coup attempt that was occurring.
