God said don’t eat, He didn’t say anything about don’t touch.
Adam relayed the instruction to Eve with an added bit - don’t even touch it. While probably well meaning it ended up opening an opportunity.
She likely touched the tree before taking of the fruit, and since nothing happened when she touched the tree she was emboldened to eat of the fruit.
Consequences didn’t come UNTIL Adam ate of it. Adam bore the responsibility, as he had been directly instructed by God.
At least pretend to understand simple things before you spout off like ignorant children.
