>>12924123 (lb) “BANE” vs “bain”

For everyone’s edification and continuing education, pls note the word used in this context by anon should be BANE, not “bain” (unless and until you’re using the French word, “bain” in the few compound words in which it can be used in English).

One of the problems President Trump has exposed in our society is that of the verbal and rhetorical dumbing down of America.

With an imprecise grasp of vocabulary - when we do not have an extensive, precise lexicon with which to communicate - then we are more easily manipulated and deceived.

“Words Matter” is not just a truism; used correctly, our words are proving to be the bane of the cabal’s existence.

That’s part of their effort to “control the narrative”.

People have to agree on the definitions of words for there to be 2-way communication.

If people aren’t sure about meanings (dénotations and connotations) they are less able / unable to push back on deliberate distortions and deceptions, never mind the open use of logical fallacies in the current rhetoric.
