would their crimes become hate crimes requiring a more severe penalty?
It seems like they should be charged with hate crimes if the justice system was legit.
But the way things are now, we'd be in more trouble and sooner for jaywalking.

Premeditation doesn't neccesarily include hate,
and hate crimes are not neccesarily premeditated.
But doesn't a crime commited that is motivated by hate carry more extreme penalties?
