Here is the key problem, anons. While Trump was POTUS, the semi-prosperous gun owners of America could sit easy. They had their guns, and they were not likely to starve to death. They assumed that they could avoid violence because Team Trump would restore the Republic without violence. In St. Louis, a lawyer with a working gun and his wife with a non-working gun were able to face down a crowd of rioters. And there were millions of deer hunters with good rifles in the red states.
Now the situation is less stable. There is no timeline for when Trump might be vindicated. Blue state lawyers are eager to harass Trump. Team Biden might actually be competent enough to disarm some of the deer hunters. Even if Team Biden is totally incompetent, they might wreck the economy so badly that half of the deer hunters go bankrupt and cease to be effective potential militia. (A bankrupt militiaman might not starve, but he might lose his reputation among his community, his health, and his guns.) All of us are mortal and we're going to die some day. Most of us will probably die of ill health without ever firing a shot in anger. But if red-state deer hunters die of ill health or starvation, that weakens America. Currently there are millions of deer hunters and the "blue states" would suffer the most from a civil war. But if 99% of the deer hunters were to go bankrupt, the "red states" would lose a civil war almost instantly.
A die-hard Trump loyalist would say
<"Trust the plan, blame yourself for Team Trump's apparent failures, trust that some apparent failures are just Sun-Tzu tricks so that Team Trump can appear weak while being strong. And while you're at it, become a local political organizer so that you with your limited budget can do a better job than Trump did with a big budget."
Heck, maybe those die-hard Trump loyalists are smarter and better-informed than I am. But if, in 2021, a large percentage of deer hunters are going bankrupt, starving, losing hope, then some deer hunters will switch over to "killdozer" mode. That would be a personal tragedy for their families, but that would ALSO weaken the "red state" culture of America significantly. I personally cannot organize a roadside lemonade stand, much less a local political movement. Do the "red states" have enough local political organizers to keep the deer hunters from starving?
