Almost looks like there isn't an engine on the port side - just the mount.

Perhaps this is a training flight. Airlines concerned that the SW engine "issues" might visit upon their fleet, taking measures to ensure pilots have real world training for such a scenario. I'm sure they sim such events, but there's no substitute for the real thing.
