This has been a complete circus in Missouri. The prosecutor was pursuing the case over a woman who said her story 'could have been a dream.'
They lost the legal case, so they are trying to impeach based on conduct that may have never happened. It's like a prelude to the Trump show, and is worth noting that our governor is prior SWO.
I am curious to see how it all plays out, and I will be paying close attention to who votes in what manner. Channeling a bit of kiritsugu emiya, there.
What is the difference between a dream and reality? What is "real?"
This is a philosophical question that will always underwrite any existence. There are two basic answers. Nihilism or its depraved form - Narcissism… Or a more general acceptance of the mystery and the value of the experience.
We can't know, for certain, what reality is. We can only accept or reject the experience in front of us, once we have become aware of the option. Many simply sleep through the experience - go through the motions… A sort of NPC in an MMO.
The red pill and the blue pill is just the option to question. Do you want to wake up and question your world… Or do you just want to go through the motions? Those who take the red pill, then, have a range of ways to respond to what they learn - falling in line with what is described, prior.
Of course… It could be a bit more tragic. We all wished to become magical girls… Of course, every wish is a curse against the natural order, and witches are born from curses. When the weight of our wish presses down, the curse takes over. "Once you give up, it's over."
Or, to make a wish for a miracle is to ask for something to be done which you do not understand. How can any source of power grant an ability beyond conception?
This is what many of these new-age 'vibrations' types fail to realize. They put forth the idea that life should be easy and that it should be comfortable. While this may be what we desire, it is the pursuit of that desire that gives purpose and growth to our being.
If we make our decisions based on Sybil's Oracle as opposed to our own free will, can our lives hold any value? How do our souls hold value unless they are utilized to make our own decisions?
It is a disease which leads innocent victims to their death, yet its pathogen will never be eliminated. It is a form of death people have wished for - serenity.
So, while I am firmly against the cabal and for the freedom of mankind… I'm a sailor out to sea to see what he can see. I can always delude myself into thinking that the world isn't real because it doesn't work the way I want to - but that is ultimately the path to narcissism. That is making a contract to be a magical girl with kyuubi.
And as bad ass as Homura was, it kind of turned out to be a sucky deal for her.
