David, Solomon and every leader in history down through the ages have lamented their terrible treatment by enemies.

Whether good or evil, our leaders have been hated, persecuted, opposed, tormented, poisoned, attacked by stealth and by war, and in some cases murdered.

It seems to be the lot of those out in front. Will it be like that when Jesus comes and lives among us, as King?

So, though we are newly aware of what forces are acting against us normal folk, let us use today, President's Day, to remember that those in leadership positions are also suffering life on this crazy world.
