What COVID has done to us.
We are in our 50's no debt, so we have a small amount of monthly bills. Phones, gas, food, etc.
My wife worked for restaurant owned by a liber al chef. When COVID hit, they were forced to close by Gov mandate. When she opened back up in Sept, couldn't make it and closed for good. She worked there two days a week.
She cleans for a lady one day a week, who is a liberal and works for the Post Office. Super paranoid about COVID, has had four tests, last one came up positive, fired my wife because she refused test.
Called the other lady my wife works for, cleans her house every other Friday, told her about COVID, and this liberal is also paranoid about COVID, so is now wanting my wife to get test, which of course, we won't.
My income is from buying storage units. That shut down all of 2019. A few came up through the winter, but we are broke, and it takes cash to buy them, and they are going for big bucks.
Now, we are relying on govt, even went to food bank last week.
Tax returns (we'll get a little bit back) is delayed.
Stimulus? What a joke.
Unemployment in our state is all fucked up, we can't get it.
