I found some more interesting stuff while digging on Michael Smith and James Costos. The house that the Obama's stayed at for a week after leaving the White House is located at 70000 Thunderbird Mesa Drive, Rancho Mirage, CA. It's a Mayan Design home with a KEYSTONE shaped swimming pool overlooking Coachella valley. Before Michael & James bought it, it belonged to Stan Jolley one of the original designers of Disneyland.
The home is called Ichpa Mayapan (“exclusive estate”)
