With all the fuss and confusion, I keep thinking back to the time Melania Trump led a crowd in praying the Lord's Prayer. The Trump family is not perfect. They try to be as good as possible. That's all I would ask of any human. With that in mind, maybe we could give thanks for the good stuff we have, even if our good things are imperfect.
On the topic of imperfect human beings, some people are interested in several Biblical passages:
>Marriage is: one man, one woman (Gen. 2:18–24) in covenant (Matt. 19:6) for life (Rom. 7:2, 3).
I studied the Bible for many years by translating the original Hebrew and Koine Greek. (Sadly I don't know Aramaic; I am an imperfect human.) Briefly, I became convinced that the interpretations of the Bible taught by various churches are not just incompatible - they are also all highly flawed.
Shills who distort the message of Christianity are personally painful to me, but I try to hope that some day, in the future, I will be able to truly forgive them.
The anti-divorce poster seems to think that he can judge who has truly repented and who has not. But the human heart is difficult to know. We don't know who has sincerely asked God for forgiveness.
