Drove I-80 thru Iowa recently.

Every farm field has a bunch of wind turbines in it.

Those hillbillies (it's not as flat as you think there) have really bought into that shit.

The suppliers/generators of Natty Gas are putting out the SOS.

A lot of places from Springfield, MO and points SW use a lot of it for electric generation.

But, the news and board keeps harping on the lack of wind generation being the reason.

The biggest benefit "green" solutions provide is during peak air conditioning season when the peak demand is always highest.

That's why I think wind is a waste of time since how many heat waves have high wind speeds.

The big solar farms out west have the right idea.

The one thing you'll have plenty of during 100+ degree weather is the sun.
