Just realized a mistake in:

>~~Thus, a flight from San Jose SJC to let's say JFK would have to fly 1st to LGB and grab a connecting flight.~~

There are direct flights from SJC to JFK as shown in >>1294690

Still correct that Long Beach (LGB) is Jet Blue's West Coast hub.

Yes, and make it clear that was departed from San Jose (SJC), the closest airport to Apple HQ in Cupertino, CA.

>why?

Not sure. Could be something as simple as that's the flight Tim Cook used when he flew to DC to go to the WH last week.

<Who's this Lisa Jackson, btw, anyone know?

But then why the Apple store in HK?

And the shipping pallets?

Just a shot across the bow on trade, combined with POTUS' well-timed tweet?

That would seem to be the Occam's Razor view.

But is there something behind that?

As a sidenote, AAPL had a stellar Quarter on the earnings tip:

Strength in China

Adding to that optimism were strong results in China. Revenue in that country actually declined 24% over the past two fiscal years.

But performance has improved notably of late. Sales in China rose 21% YOY, the company's best performance in ten quarters.

And Cook forecast more improvement in China, while also dismissing some of the trade war concerns. The CEO also cited strength in India.

The Rest of Apple Did Well

That strength continued in Q2. Non-iPhone sales rose nearly 18% YOY.

The big driver is the Services segment, for which Cook has targeted $50 billion in revenue.

Not necessarily, see >>1294891

Make em in China, slap Their Apple brand on em, & sell em to well-to-do upwardly mobile Chinese & Indians at ridiculous markup.

Meanwhile, They can suck $$$ out of Their past US customers through Service Center fees, when all Their customers' I-Phones get "screen disease" & assorted "battery problems".

Interesting theory, anon. can dig it.

The whole surface story is almost too absurd. Approaching farce even.

Keep in mind that, according to Netflix doc (an interesting slice of sly disinfo in its own right), DJT had retained Cohen since the 90's (if i recall).

Certainly, a long relationship between the 2 men.

To clarify, you're referring to that plane in this photo, correct?

>>1280030 —————— (JetBlue taking off from San Jose?)

If so, definitely, but not sure how to hunt down history of that particular plane.

IMPORTANT NOTICE for twatteranons:

Last night a friend made the mistake of changing their password, per TWTR's fearmongering recommendation.

they logged out of twatter, and the computer shut down immediately.

restarted with another new user on the login screen called "Other".

Would strongly suggest any twatter anons. exercise extreme caution before resetting their passwords.

Any digs into the cover story TWTR is using?

WTF?

>I don't understand how the adult at the departure airport let that happen, unless the airline takes the kids right from check in the DR.

Me neither. Reminds me somewhat of the underwear bomber story out of Amsterdam back early in Hussein's reign.

<No passport? No problem!

>Transportation Department, which oversees consumer protection issues, said that it had no regulations for travel by unaccompanied minors, but that it was up to the airlines to devise their own policies.

One would think with all the focus on child trafficking from the WH, the Transportation Dept. would be wise to reconsider having no regulations. Not a fan of regs in the slightest, but with all the thousands of regs on the books, a regulation on unaccompanied minors on airlines would be a no-brainer.
