Many stores are closed, including many WalMarts.

Texans are not used to planning ahead. It's the second land of plenty behind Cali - problem is that it's growing so fast the slightest hitch brings pain.

Anon keeps a well-stocked kitchen. No problem here. But yes, there were many left quite surprised. The roads are still snow packed and icy. Zero infrastructure to handle icy/snowy weather because it happens so rarely.

OTOH, this weather hiccup in Texas is a great time to redpill re: energy infrastructure.

Call solar and wind money laundering. Show how they fail repeatedly when demand is the highest. Go back to nuclear and natural gas energy plants.

Limit growth to allow the infrastructure to develop by not subsidizing company relocations.

It's not hard, but enough of the TX politicians are still cabal that it won't get done.
