Okla anon here. One of our heaters (master bedroom) went out a week ago, but our neighborhood roads and our long steep driveway is not passable. After the final round of snow tonite, we will have the snow blown off and have it sanded. THEN the heat and air guy can come. Our bedroom/bathroom temp was/is 34 degrees despite two fireplaces burning and a small space heater. The plumbing is frozen in the master bath. Although trips to the bathroom are rugged, with a pile of blankets and dogs on the bed, we are sleeping quite comfortably. There is no way to close off the part of the house that is out of heat so that cold air pours into the rest of the house. My clothes are layered, and I have a space heater next to me at my desk. Not complaining – thankful to have a roof over my head.
Celcius? "Up here" in Austin? LOL. In America, it's Fahrenheit and Austin is "down there" from any other place in America. You're not "down there".
