Ayeyiyi. Fake news/fearmongering. Only good thing: maybe all the Kens and Karens will leave Texas.

Anon grew up with nothing but a fireplace for heat (all the heat goes straight up the flue) and that was when Texas had spells of teen digit temps every winter. Now, anon has a wood stove. Have never used central or gas heat, except for small propane heater in bathroom we turn on when we shower. Temp in the back part of the house stays at about 57 when it's really cold outside. Like you, we close off all doors and just the front part stays warm, and we wear more clothes. I understand what you are saying. It was 9 degrees outside at my house this a.m. It was cold but if a person is out of the wind, with a way to wrap up, one is not going to die.

Yes, I know it's uncomfortable for alot of people right now, but people (excluding you) are not even trying. They are acting like this is the ice age. They are burning their dang furniture when it will be back in the 50's and 60's in a couple of days!

Hope your lights come on soon, anon.
