Abbott needs to resign like a man and stop finger pointing. This was not an act of God or extreme weather. This was preventable and should have been anticipated. Public safety has been compromised by corruption at all levels, putting the reliability of our critical infrastructure at risk. This is a wake up call for all of America. Windmills from China are pure evil. They are not efficient and require massive direct taxpayer subsidized programs to fund to attract capital. The public utilities are handing their operations over to the politicians to decide how to generate power as rational planning and engineering is discarded and replaced with dogma. The great state of Texas is a third world country tonight as 3 million people are boiling water, hand filling toilets, and hunkering down without power.

Governor Abbott should resign now.

This is a disgrace to all Texans and a wake up call for America. God’s hand is upon Texas tonight as the world watches. Fake news is pushing extreme weather/fun in the snow narrative, avoiding China windmills choking system reliably on critical US infrastructure. This is a national security issue. God help our country.

In the name of justice, Governor Abbott should resign and step aside for an impartial inquiry into the events which led to the exchange of critical infrastructure reliability for China windmills destroying the landscape, manufactured in a brutal totalitarian communist state, subsidized by US taxpayer funds.

"Texans know that responsible stewardship of our environment must be a priority as we continue to utilize the natural resources available to us while also preserving the treasure that Texas is," said Gov. Abbott in his Clean Energy Week Proclamation. "For this reason, clean and renewable energy are a valuable part of America's future and are closely tied with Texas' prosperity and success. While Texas continues its leadership in production in our oil and gas sector, the Lone Star State also is a national and international leader in wind energy."

"Wind energy will thrive wherever it is economically competitive, and Texas is proof of that. The rapid growth of the wind industry in our state has helped to ensure Texas families and businesses have access to affordable electricity, all while powering job creation and new opportunities in the state's rural communities," said John Billingsley, Chairman and CEO of Tri Global Energy.

"Governor Abbott understands the positive impact of wind energy in Texas, and it is important to recognize his leadership," said Billingsley.
