US wanted a $200 billion decrease in the trade imbalance by 2020. There were also haggling over the IP protection issue (that was above my paygrade).
I recall reading the US did move its nukes out of Turkey. So there's that. The Ottomans are a bad deal. The extremists in power there need to be removed.
