I think DJT wants to weaken the MSM as much as possible before mass arrests happen. Otherwise MSM will convince too many people the arrests are a Stalinesque purge, Trump is a tyrant, etc.
Some of the Mockingbird "4am memos" to TV anchors like Tom Brokaw have been released to the public. But people just don't seem to care. It's as though it takes too much brain power to grapple with the relationship between clowns and the media.
The response anons so often get from normies on the corruption of MSM is: "TL;DR" (an abbreviation that would only arise in a brain dead society to begin with – certainly didn't exist in my generation.)
But I think you're on to something here. If the DOJ can pin major crimes on MSM corporations and their top executives/journalists, it would force them to change their ways and it would help to discredit them in the eyes of the public.
Ironically, the Patriot Act (and also some of the executive orders) gives lots of ammunition to the DOJ to accuse MSM of: crimes against humanity, war crimes, aiding and abetting state terrorism… Maybe with key DOJ and FBI execs going down, those agencies will have the right people to go down this path of criminally prosecuting the MSM.
A trick to doing this successfully, though, will be to avoid creating the impression that Trump wants to create some kind of Soviet style Pravda/state censored media.
Wasn't it said early on in Q's posts that the eventual plan was to chop up CIA and FBI & delegate their duties to other agencies? Like for example the Defense Intelligence Agency could take over a lot of CIA's responsibilities, and DHS and DEA could take over for much of the FBI's.
