It's a money grab by insurers and if you don't cough up you pay the price with money or years of your life.

The NRA is affiliated with multiple insurers that cover life insurance, firearm insurance, personal liability insurance, etc. Lockton Affinity is one insurer that they are affiliated with and promote on their website. The NRA and Lockton Affinity, as well as other insurers stand to make a lot of money if this bill passes. Of course they would grease the palms of the presidential campaign that would be willing to make it happen.
