Anon here that has a little knowledge of the rare earth stuff going on here in the US. A lot of people didn't really care about this for years. They got their electronics from Samsung/Apple and went along their way. However, Trump quietly set the ball in motion for the removal of government red-tape to allow this research/development to happen on our soil. The coal industry is setting on a gold mine of this stuff. Waste rock and coal fines in several specific areas of the US are absolutely LOADED with rare earth. I know of two Rare Earth processing plants that are now under construction in Eastern Kentucky to re-process coal fines/waste rock. I'm watching closely if the Biden admin stops it from happening since it is in my back door. We have it here on our soil, the tree hugging liberals needs to get their head out of their ass and let us stay energy and mineral independent!
