It may not be important to know but I suspect the spambot attacks are coming from the same time zone as the UK.
Am a CaliAnon and am at the UK breads a lot. They are 8 hours ahead of Cali.
When I turn off Javascript, I am seeing the bot's timezone is 8 hours ahead of Cali just like UK.
Not saying it's UK but the same timezone.
Am a regular over on UK breads and suspect the spambot is posting from same timezone as UK.
Both yesterday and today got a chance to go to a few of the bot-created breads and observe the bot posts in realtime.
When I turn off javascript I observed the posts not in my local Calif time but in the bot's local time. It was exactly 8 hours ahead of Calif. just like the UK.
Not saying it's UK but same time zone?
