The attack is a social Trojan horse to implement the code they want.
Nothing has changed in the ability for our enemy, who already owned the board, to address the very spam they created.
The timing here is important.
Why now?
Why are they after the code for the site?
Hidden in plain sight.
To be clear, that would be the experienced behavior yet there are a myriad of reasons why we'd be having connection issues right now so it'd be impossible to confirm one reason over the other.
