can someone explain how to properly upload an image, so the post has the thumbnail and when clicked it expands? I seem unable to figure it out, and the FAQ doesn't provide an answer.

1 of 2 South Texas Nuclear Power Station reactors was taken offline, reducing base load by 1400 Megawatts. This was done because a feed water pump froze, triggering an automatic shutdown. Furthermore, the cold snap cut gas production, which resulted in a drop of over 20 Gigawatts of production. This was due to the fact that gathering lines were freezing, and wellheads were seizing up. The gas power plants rely on continuous supply from production fields and have very little storage.

I know how to post a jpg. My issue is with how the posted jpg appears. I see the small thumbnail, but when clicking on it to enlarge, it doesn't. If I check the "spoiler image" tick box, I get a "? Spoiler" icon, and clicking that will expand.
