Distillation is always the best alternative for pure water. Second best is spring water, depending on the circumstances.
I get what you're saying, but I am referring to water that is bottled directly from a fresh spring; moving water. Water, regardless of whether it's spring water or tap water, which is left to stagnate in fibreglass tanks will not be of optimal quality. It depends on the circumstances.
