It seems the consistent result of 'dark matter' searches is that they couldn't find it with the limits of their current experiment.

Which, to be fair is a great endeavor on its own - it's the kind of honest science answer appreciated by other searchers.

Except every. tool. they've. tried. has yielded nothing, and they actually exhausted the electromagnetic spectrum for the darn matter to exist in.

So the meta-conclusion of the body of work dedicated to finding dark matter is: We can't find it, we looked everywhere.

Now, at some point they need to start thinking about other reasons for our galaxies spin.
