PB. Not financial advice, but worth considering. Just 2 years ago I had a client inherit such a watch, whatever model he had was worth $15k. He wanted to buy some very expensive equipment from my shop. He was going to sell the watch to buy it, but his wife thought he should keep it since it was his Dad's and it had sentimental value. I reminded him you can't take physical things with you, it's the memories and the love that we hold onto. When you wear the watch occasionally, you'll think of your dad. But if you sell the watch and buy this equipment (which he would be using and benefiting from on a daily basis), you'll think of him every day. He loved that. He sold the watch and bought something he could actually use and enjoy.
