"Maryland’s health care providers have administered more than 1 million doses of the coronavirus vaccine, Governor Larry Hogan said Friday. In all, a total of 1,013,049 doses have been administered. That includes the distribution of 749,765 first doses and the distribution of 510,235 second doses.

The latest data means that more than 94% of all the first doses that the state received from the federal government have been administered and that an average of about 27,800 doses are being given each day.

Maryland is currently in Phase 1C of the vaccine distribution process, which prioritizes residents ages 65-74, some essential workers, and those who have certain immunocompromised conditions, such as cancer and diabetes."
