I don't believe this part of that scenario holds water.
The SC is comped. As such they are a predefined part of the problem.
This was a requirement for the Military to proceed from the very beginning; hence, Military Tribunals.
I expect the SC will do no moar than they did in the beginning; they will kick the can.
Some of [them] may well find themselves in front of a Military Tribunal. They will not be playing court anymoar at that point.
Beyond that single point, I find therest of your post plausible for the same reasons you stated.
