Well food isn't on the shelves, because people are panic shopping and trucks and vendors aren't able or willing to drive in the mess atm. Not saying there isn't fuckery afoot, but I don't think they are trying to starve us atm. There are logical reasons why the food shelves are bare.
Not opposed to exposing corrupt gov, even R ones. Just saying that literally, people are panic shopping and the trucks haven't been showing up, nor have the vendors. Just don't want legitimate corruption overshadowed or muddied w/fear porn from people who don't understand these points. Groceryindustryfag here.
Kek muh digits no lie frens. Don't follow panic porn. Trucks can't or won't run atm, but will soon. Stores have limited staff and hours atm. Some have last weeks truck, still sitting in backrooms, because lack of staff and hours to put on the shelf. Panic shoppers are the #1 culprit, as they hoard more than they need. Just like with the TP when Corona started. Panic shoppers made a run on water, bread, milk, eggs, and frozen food, not to mention candy, chips, and snacks when storm hit. Now they are panicking cuz there's none left to hoard. Others panic, cuz they're just trying to get a couple days food and none of the staples are left and because gov is always corrupt/incompetent or both and corps are evil moneygrubbing fucks, so conspiracy and blame flies. But there is food on the shelf, maybe not your favs or the list errbody making a run on, but still there is food. Not everything that happens is a conspiracy. Remember, everything needs sauce or it's fake news or simply opinion/'conspiracy theory'. fr fr Now the electric and water shutoff, that's another storyโฆ but again we are looking for the truth, not fear porn, innuendo or rage porn. Those are not sauce. Outrage is good tho, maybe it will spur a wave of prep and confrontation of officials, that leads to more in a ready state for unpredictable emergencies and a more watchful eye on gov. Praying for my TX neighbors and friends, we are almost out of this storm. Sun shining today, second day in a row. Temps a little better. No precipitation in my area atm or for the last couple days. Help your neighbors if you can, many can't or won't drive in this mess. Maybe make some neighborhood emergency plans for the future. Each house on the block responsible for a component of an emergency plan, since many can't afford to do it all on their own. Or do it with your family. If you are alone, there are still ways to prepare and better survive these emergencies. Fuck a bunch of panic shoppers and fear porn pushers tho, they can eat a dick for all I care. kek
They should issue a red alert, calling out panic shoppers. You can last longer without food than water. Has anyone thought of melthing snow for their animals? Or even themselves if that desperate. People are panic shopping and making the situation worse than it has to be. Water and electric are an issue and do affect the food chain. That is true and where much of the blame falls. But trucks are/haven't been moving. Staff haven't even been able to work out last weeks trucks. Just now getting last weeks trucks out. If they are shutting down food producers this is a gov issue. So I find it ironic that they are reporting that a gov agency is issuing a red alert about something the gov is causing. You see what I mean? Panic doesn't help. There is no boogy man. If gov shuts down food supply or components of that, then gov needs to be called out and dealt with. Drive down the street and you will see all the biz lights on. Only some very few stores, food chain components, etcโฆ with power out. Not that many, I've seen zero sauce for this!Main prob is not being able to truck thru the mess. Gov issues panic over shit they caused to create panic? Way better title for your 'sauce'.
