I was first diagnosed with what the doctor called COPD about 11 years ago.

Back story: after hurricane katrina I moved to Gulfport Mississippi bcuz that was where the work was. Fema was paying 20$ an hour to clean up. (I was not involved with that) I lived and worked there when the BP oil disaster happened. It's right there on the gulf coast. Lived blocks from the water. The spill lasted 4 months and you could smell something that was just really obvious. They were pumping a chemical called Corexit into the spill itself. So you have oil plus a chemical being leaked into the water. They said Corexit would disolve some of the oil. Problem was the law enforcement would not let anyone get close enough to film any of this. With all the oil being leaked everyone was noticing that you couldn't even see any oil. That chemical was just weighing the oil down from the surface. There's been several other leaks of boats and the oil on top of the water was freaking huge. This was no tiny boat this was a underwater gieser. For 4 months. It smelled like honey suckle or something. It didn't matter whos house you were in you couldn't get away from that odor.

So apparently I have what they are calling COPD for all those years.

According to their math I should have been dead already.

My girlfriend got a 25,000$ BP check and I got a cough

Time for a lawyer if anyone knows one that handles this kind of shit
