BREAKING: Trump To Speak At CPAC, Will Detail Future Of Republican Party

President Trump just confirmed he will speak about the future of the Republican Party at CPAC.

It was announced this afternoon that President Donald Trump is scheduled to speak at CPAC, this year scheduled in his own backyard, Orlando, Florida. President Trump is expected to describe his vision for the future of the Republican Party.

In his first post-presidency public appearance, President Trump will speak at the Conservative Political Action Conference to discuss the future of the Republican Party.

“Trump is going to CPAC next week, which is being held in Orlando,” wrote Maggie Haberman of the New York Times. “He’s expected, per a senior aide, to talk about the future of the GOP as well as Biden’s immigration policies.”

This comes as President Trump is reportedly planning to vet a series of America First candidates to challenge those backed by Republican establishment leaders House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. It is unclear if McCarthy and McConnell will challenge President Trump’s America First insurgency.

In what pundits and pols are beginning to dub “a fight for the soul of the Republican Party,” Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump signaled last week they would be backing disparate candidates for Republican nominations for U.S. Senate seats in 2022.

McConnell, who vowed not to mention Trump’s name anymore, said he would be supporting Repubican candidates who are “electable.” Trump, in his much-reported salvo against McConnell last week, promised that “[w] here necessary and appropriate, I will back primary rivals who espouse Making America Great Again and our policy of America First.”

On Wednesday, two prominent women closely associated with Trump declared for open U.S. Senate seats in Ohio and Alabama.

Former State GOP Chairman Jane Timken declared Thursday for the Ohio seat being relinquished by Republican Sen. Rob Portman.

Promising to “fight for the Trump agenda, stop socialism dead in its tracks, and be a champion for all Ohioans,” the feisty Timkin proudly proclaimed herself a “mom and fighter” and one “who won’t stand back and let America become a Socialist country.”
