i think a lot of people in my area will have their meters read at the end of this month
and then the rate shock will not hit them until later when the bills arrive in the mail
i look for this to be a building outrage from customers over the next 6 weeks or more
if people are not paying attention there will be mass outrage in my area on the first of the month when they open their mailbox

i talked to the manager of a 40 unit apartment building who is worried about it because the electric bills are included in the rent
which some of them are not paying already

i was looking at ones that run on propane
you do not have to worry about the new crap gas we get now going bad
used them for years no problems on the farm
