Recently a couple of stories have surfaced that most people are not associating with one another. In Russia, opposition leader Alexei Navalny returned to Moscow after having spent several months in Germany recovering from an attempt on his life by means of the old Soviet method of poisoning. In what was almost certainly at the direction of Vladimir Putin, Navalny was arrested as he stepped off the plane.

Meanwhile, here in the United States, Russia’s opponent during the Cold War, the City of Philadelphia took the gun away from 51-year-old Police Detective Jennifer Gugger. Her “crime”? She attended the rally in Washington on January 6th. There was no indication that she was inside the Capitol, simply at the rally. She had some strong posts on social media, especially about Vice President Mike Pence, but not anything that would constitute a direct threat.

For those who might argue that there more of us, or at least as many of us, who believe in individual liberty and free market capitalism than there are opponents to same, I would suggest that you should not confuse a simple head count with total political atomic mass. The positions within society that our opponents hold and the institutions and machinery they control gives them leverage beyond simple membership numbers.

Former vice president Mike Pence reportedly declined an invitation to speak at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), where former president Donald Trump will be making his first major public appearance since leaving the White House.

The conference will be held in Orlando, Florida from February 25 to February 28. Trump will make a speech in the afternoon on the final day of the conference, according to a schedule posted on CPAC's website.

Several former Trump administration officials will also speak at the event, including former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. Other staunch allies of the former president who will be guest speakers include Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem.

However, Pence is notably absent from the speaker line-up.

Boxes of “frosted” Corn Flakes seized in Ohio this month weren’t exactly breakfast-friendly, officials say.

Bico, a drug-detecting dog for U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Cincinnati, alerted to a large shipment of cereal while checking out cargo from Peru on Feb. 13, officials said Friday.

The cereal was headed to a home in Hong Kong.

Officers opened the boxes of Corn Flakes to take a closer look and noticed the cereal looked a little funny — the box contained white powder and the Corn Flakes were coated in a gray substance, officials said.

Officers tested the Corn Flakes, as well as the powder, and learned the cereal wasn’t coated with frosting — it was coated with cocaine, the agency said.

All-in-all, officials say they seized 44 pounds of cocaine-coated Corn Flakes. The shipment had an estimated street value of $2,822,400, according to the agency.

Experts anticipate a ‘feeding frenzy’ as firms, including some run by high-ranking members of the ruling Chinese Communist Party, seek to expand their influence over Britain’s education system,” the Daily Mail notes.

Currently, 17 British schools are under Chinese control, and nine of which are “owned by firms whose founders or bosses are among China’s most senior Communist Party members.”

But that number is set to multiply.

Schools, which are being used to spread a “whitewashed” view of the communist country, have also seen their owners admit acquisitions are part of China’s Belt and Road initiative.

According to Matt Hartman, on February 19, two mysterious F-117 Nighthawks stealth aircraft flew together with a U.S. Air Force KC-135R aerial refueling tanker over Los Angeles International Airport.

“Over LAX Airport the U.S. Air Force KC-135R tanker with two F-117 stealth fighter ,C/S KNIGHT01 w/ KNIGHT02 in flight over SoCal……never in my life…have I seen such a AWE moment…I mean …..WOW!!! 02-19-21,” he said on Twitter.

According to The Drive, even though F-117 Nighthawk currently flies on in a limited fashion for testing and training purposes, its days as a combat aircraft are long behind it.

In addition, earlier in January 2021, the U.S. Air Force’s Air Mobility Command (AMC) has issued a formal order that all KC-135 Stratotankers are now cleared to execute aerial refueling operations with F-117 Nighthawks.

This serves as additional evidence that the F-117’s post-retirement operations are becoming more widespread and far less reclusive in nature.
