Kids in Cages: Biden Opens Gated Compound for Illegal Immigrant Children — Democrats and AOC Silent

It’s just like the good ol’ days under Barack Obama.

The Biden administration opened a gated migrant facility for illegal immigrant children this past weekend in Carrizo Springs, Texas.

The camp will hold up to 700 illegal immigrant children.

The facility was open for one month during the Trump years and then it was shut down. Democrats were very, very upset about caged kids during Trump’s tenure. They completely ignored it under Obama.

The need to hold illegal alien children in compounds is the direct result of reversing President Trump’s highly successful border policies, which they described as “hardline.”

"We thought COVID-19 was a biological war’ – SANDF’s R260m mistake”

https://www.thesouthafrican.com/news/sandf-biological-war-covid-19-cuban-drugs/

Some extraordinary claims were made in Parliament this week, as SANDF representatives said they were responding to COVID-19 'as a chemical attack'.

The South African National Defence Force (SANDF) found themselves with some explaining to do in Parliament this week, after their R260 million procurement of an untested – and ultimately unusable – COVID-19 treatment came under the microscope. However, in the search for clarity, more bizarre details about this deal have come to light.

Senior executives serving the army spent about R260 million on ‘unproven COVID-19 remedies’ – and then hid evidence of the payments. It is believed that the so-called ‘treatment’ was initially procured from Cuba, and had even been championed by Ekurhuleni Mayor Mzwandile Masina. Rapport claims that soldiers were clambering to be injected with it first.

The order for the Interferon Alfa-R2B, also known as Heberon, did not come from the South African Military Health Services (SAMHS) – and as such, failed to gain acceptance as stock, as this particular medication is not registered for use in South Africa. Interferon was tested as a COVID-19 treatment last year by the WHO, but it failed to tame the virus.

SANDF stuck to their guns on the issue, insisting that Interferon had shown positive results in several other countries. However, these claims were comprehensively dismissed by Wits University’s Professor Shabir Madhi:

“There is no scientific rationale for doing a clinical trial of Interferon alfa-2b as it has already been shown to be ineffective in the WHO solidarity trial in the treatment of COVID-19.”

Major General Mzikayise Tyhalisi faced the music in the National Assembly, and gave an eye-opening account of SANDF’s response to the virus: The army reacted to the arrival of COVID-19, believing it was the result of ‘biological warfare’ – an astonishing claim made by no other government or armed service elsewhere.

Tyhalisi defended the decision to procure vast reserves of Interferon, saying that decisions made ‘in wartime-like operations’ can often be questioned in hindsight – and SANDF operated under the impression that a ‘chemical threat’ existed.

“Ramaphosa told us to get boots on the ground in April 2020. We were in the process of planning of the employment and protecting these forces. The military has the sole capability of chemical and biological warfare. We did not know how this enemy was going to behave… Interferon was purchased to support the fight against a military biological threat.”

CARACAS (Reuters) - Venezuela Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza said on Wednesday that the head of the European Union’s delegation in Caracas had 72 hours to leave the South American country after the bloc imposed new sanctions on Venezuelan officials this week.

In announcing the action against Portuguese national Isabel Brilhante, Arreaza described the sanctions against 19 Venezuelan officials “truly unacceptable.”

The sanctions were a response to legislative elections won by President Nicolas Maduro’s allies that Venezuela’s opposition and many Western democracies deemed fraudulent.

“Red Cross prepares to contain deadly Ebola outbreak in Africa”

https://www.thesouthafrican.com/news/red-cross-prepares-to-contain-deadly-ebola-outbreak-in-africa/. Below are a few excerpts.

International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies Regional Director for Africa says there is a serious risk of the deadly Ebola virus spreading from Guinea to neighbouring countries.

Red Cross volunteers and staff in Guinea, Liberia, Côte d’Ivoire, Mali, Senegal and Sierra Leone have stepped up surveillance and community sensitisation effort to contain a deadly Ebola outbreak in the region.

To support their life saving activities, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) has issued an international emergency appeal for 8.5 million Swiss francs.

IFRC Regional Director for Africa, Mohammed Mukhier, said there was a serious risk of the virus spreading from Guinea to neighbouring countries.

“Ebola does not care about borders. Close social, cultural and economic ties between communities in Guinea and neighbouring countries create a very serious risk of the virus spreading to Liberia, Côte d’Ivoire and Sierra Leone, and potentially even further,” Mukhier said.

“That’s why we are launching an integrated cross-border operation aimed at rapidly confining the outbreak to its current location and swiftly containing any eventual outbreak beyond Guinea.”

There are an estimated 1.3 million people living in the health zone affected by the outbreak. The Guinea Red Cross and IFRC plan aims to support about 420 000 of them with a range of services, including community sensitisation, community-based surveillance, water, sanitation and hygiene, safe and dignified burials, infection prevention and control, as well as psychosocial support.

“This outbreak is likely to complicate an already challenging situation. COVID-related containment measures currently being implemented have exacerbated food insecurity in the region and this may lead to the reluctance of communities to respect new preventive measures that are being put in place to contain Ebola,” Mukhier said.

Born in Sudan, Mohammed Mukhier is Head of Disaster Policy and Preparedness Department at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) in Geneva since June 2006. Mr. Mukhier’s department provides overall guidance to the IFRC’s secretariat and to National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies on topics such as disaster preparedness, disaster policy, disaster risk reduction, food security, livelihood and recovery. Before becoming Head of Department, Mohammed Mukhier held key positions in the field as Head of Operations for the Pakistan earthquake in 2006, Head of Delegation in Iran in 2004-2005, Regional Disaster Preparedness and Response Delegate for Eastern Africa from 2000 to 2003 and Senior Disaster Preparedness Officer in Geneva (1998-2000). Before joining the IFRC, Mohammed Mukhier also worked for Actionaid and was a Research Associate at the Cranfield Disaster Preparedness Centre at Cranfield University in England. Mohammed Mukhier holds several university degrees including diplomas in international management, food security and microcomputers for agricultural development.

Once-secret FBI informant reports reveal wider-ranging operation to spy on Trump campaign

Goal was to find "anyone" inside GOP campaign tied to Russia who could be get dirt "damaging" to Clinton, newly declassified memos reveal.

Once-secret reports show the FBI effort to spy on the Trump campaign was far wider than previously disclosed, as agents directed an undercover informant to make secret recordings, pressed for intelligence on numerous GOP figures, and sought to find "anyone in the Trump campaign" with ties to Russia who could acquire dirt "damaging to Hillary Clinton."

The now-declassified operational handling reports for FBI confidential human source Stefan Halper — codenamed "Mitch" — provide an unprecedented window both into the tactics used by the bureau to probe the Trump campaign and the wide dragnet that was cast to target numerous high-level officials inside the GOP campaign just weeks before Americans chose their next president in the November 2016 election.

Among the revelations, the memos make clear that:

Almost immediately after the FBI opened a Russia collusion probe on July 31, 2016 narrowly focused on the foreign lobbying of a single Trump campaign aide named George Papadopoulos, agents pressed Halper for information on more than a half dozen other figures, including future Attorney General Jeff Sessions, foreign policy adviser Sam Clovis, campaign chairman Paul Manafort, economic adviser Peter Navarro, future National Security Adviser Michael Flynn and campaign adviser Carter Page.

Halper provided significant exculpatory evidence to the FBI — including transcripts of conversations he recorded of targeted Trump advisers providing statements of innocence — that was never disclosed to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court that approved a year of surveillance targeting the Trump campaign, and specifically Page.

While current FBI Director Chris Wray has insisted the bureau did not engage in spying on the Trump campaign, Halper's taskings include many of the tradecraft tactics of espionage, including the creation of a fake cover story (he wanted a job at the Trump campaign), secret recordings, providing background on targets, suggested questions to ask and even contact information for potential targets.

But the memos' most explosive revelations are the sheer breadth of the FBI's insufficiently predicated dragnet targeting the Trump campaign, and the agents' clearly stated purpose of thwarting any Trump campaign effort to get dirt from Russia that could hurt his Democratic rival.

"Given the Trump campaign's desire to hire the CHS as an advisor, the CHS is in a perfect position to ask CD direct questions about the Trump campaign's alleged ties to RF," one memo noted. "The team provided the CHS with several open source articles about the Trump campaign."

Brock, the former FBI executive, said Wray's and Comey's effort to avoid using the word spying in the Russia case were simply semantics.

“What they are doing is using preferred definitions,” he said. “When we employ the investigative techniques used against Carter Page to break the laws of another country and steal their secrets, it’s okay to call it spying. When we use those same techniques against a U.S. citizen, it’s called an investigation."

Maoist Monster: Biden Aide Says Pandemic, Which Has Ravaged the Nation, Was the 'Best Thing That Ever Happened' to Biden

Joe Biden’s senior advisor Anita Dunn said that the coronavirus was “the best that ever happened” to Joe Biden, alluding to the impact of the pandemic on the voting public.

The remark will appear in Lucky: How Joe Biden Barely Won the Presidency by Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes, which will hit the bookstores on March 2. It’s the first major book released on the 2020 presidential contest. The Guardian obtained a copy prior to publication and found the quote. “It was, the authors add, a necessarily private comment that ‘campaign officials believed but would never say in public.'”

Washington Examiner:

That private thinking reflects what many political analysts said at the time, that the rampant pandemic undermined then-President Donald Trump’s solid economic achievements and standing in national and battleground state opinion polls.

But the comments could be seized on by Biden’s critics that his campaign used the suffering of the public in the opportunistic pursuit of power.

Dunn was appointed co-chair of Biden’s transition team and served as interim press secretary during that time. Her name may be familiar to many on the right. In 2009, a video clip of the then-White House communications director surfaced where she expressed admiration for Chinese Communist mass-murderer Mao Zedong, calling him “one of my favorite political philosophers.” She left her position a month later.

Keep that quote in mind whenever you listen to Biden’s pious words about how awful it is that the coronavirus has claimed so many lives.

Associated Press:

“We often hear people described as ordinary Americans. There’s no such thing,” he said Monday evening. “There’s nothing ordinary about them. The people we lost were extraordinary.”

“Just like that,” he added, “so many of them took their last breath alone.”

A president whose own life has been marked by family tragedy, Biden spoke in deeply personal terms, referencing his own losses as he tried to comfort the huge number of Americans whose lives have been forever changed by the pandemic.

He probably should have thanked the families of all those dead Americans for giving him the presidency. Biden was dead in the water before the pandemic hit. It wasn’t until the Democratic/Media complex began their daily pronouncements of death and incompetence that his numbers began to rise.

But Dunn’s reported comment points to what became the dominant theme of the election. As the pandemic capsized Trump along with the economy Biden, through a much more cautious approach to campaigning and basic public health concerns, appealed to voters as the right man to manage a recovery.

Trump sought to hammer Biden for “hiding in his basement” – a reference to Biden’s decision to rarely leave home in Wilmington, Delaware, instead campaigning virtually while the president held rallies and ignored public health guidelines. But such attacks did not hit home.

It’s hard for an opponent to hit a moving target. It’s even harder to hit one that goes into hiding. Biden’s strategy was dictated as much by his low energy as it was any grand design and Trump was never quite able to get him in the open to engage in a day-to-day war where Biden would be forced to constantly defend himself.

UK looks set to embrace World Economic Forum's idea of immunity passports

The system they said would never happen appears to be arriving soon.

“Don’t forget your passport,” the World Economic Forum recently tweeted - promoting the idea of people having to show documentation to enter gyms, restaurants, and bars.

One country that likes the sound of the idea is the United Kingdom.

UK’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson hinted that Brits might require vaccine passports domestically, to access public venues such as pubs and theaters. The UK government has previously adamantly denied it was working on the so-called vaccine passports.

France considers slowing vaccine rollout for hospital staff, with many unable to work following jab

2-22-21

In the university hospital of Brest in Brittany, during the first week of the vaccine rollout, 20 to 25 percent of the recipients of the vaccine had to stop work because of influenza symptoms including bad headaches, high fever and sore muscles

Analysis:

February 22, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) – The AstraZeneca experimental COVID-19 vaccine currently being given to health workers in France has caused so many side-effects that the French vaccination task force (Conseil d’orientation de la stratégie vaccinale) has recommended “a staggering of the vaccination schedule for people working in the same care unit” as well as “the systematic intake of paracetamol just before the injection and in the two following days.”…..

“The older a person is, the slower the immune system’s response to the vaccine, so by default, older people develop fewer side effects from the vaccine because their immune system reacts too weakly,” explained Eric Billy. Inversely, he said, younger people have a “very reactive immune system, and it’s rather reassuring that there are these kinds of side effects, it shows that there is an immune response.” If the Pfizer-BioNtech vaccine, for example, were in turn administered to much younger people than at present, the side effects would also probably be more intense than those currently seen, he argued: “It’s not as if 10 percent of vaccinations were followed by hospitalization.” He simply recommended staggering administration of the vaccine in order to avoid practical issues.

The very people who are unlikely to get really sick from Covid-19 are the most likely to get sick from the "vaccine" - cytokine storm.

WHY ARE THEY ALLOWING THEMSELVES TO GET POKED??

Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy found guilty of corruption and sentenced to one year in prison

Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy was found guilty of corruption and influence peddling by a Paris court Monday and was sentenced to one year in prison with a two-year suspended sentence. Sarkozy served as president from 2007 to 2012 and was convicted over attempts to illegally obtain information from a senior magistrate regarding a lawsuit involving the former leader. The 66-year-old politician was told he would be entitled to request being detained in-home with an electronic bracelet.

Last year, Sarkozy denied any allegations against him during a 10-day trial over his charges. He stands as the first former president in France's modern history to have gone to trial for corruption. Sarkozy will endure an additional trial later this month, with 13 others, facing charges of illegal financing his 2012 presidential campaign. Sarkozy's conservative party is suspected by prosecutors of spending 42.8 million euros ($50.7 million) to finance his campaign, reportedly nearly twice the authorized spending amount. A separate investigation opened accuses the former president of taking millions from the late-Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi to finance his 2007 campaign. He was detained by police over the matter in 2018.

Chinese envoy defends ‘panda huggers’ and blames media over ‘totally ridiculous’ concerns

WILL GLASGOW - MARCH 2, 2021

A senior Chinese diplomat in Canberra has blamed the Australian media and “totally ridiculous” security concerns for the breakdown in Australia’s relationship with China.

Addressing an audience of business people at a Chinese Lunar New Year dinner, China’s deputy head of mission Wang Xining said the rising power would remember who was on its side during the bilateral dispute.

“History will prove that it is wise and visionary to be China’s friends,” said Minister Xining in the first lengthy address given by China’s embassy in Canberra since he spoke at the National Press Club six months ago

Mr Wang also delivered a warning to those “people in Australia [who] choose to make enemies to sustain a living”.

“Those who deliberately vilify China and sabotage the friendship between our two countries … will be [cast] aside in history,” he said.

“Their children will be ashamed of mentioning their names,” he said, according to a transcript of the speech posted on the Embassy’s website.

The combative speech – given on Thursday night at Ruby Chinese, a restaurant in Dickson that was once owned by the father of movie star Jackie Chan – is the latest public intervention by China’s Canberra embassy since the already strained bilateral relationship spiralled to historic depths last April after the Morrison government called for an inquiry into the origins of the coronavirus without forewarning their Chinese counterparts.

Weeks after Foreign Minister Marise Payne first called for the inquiry on the ABC’s Insiders show, China’s ambassador Cheng Jingye gave an interview in which he warned of a boycott of Australian beef, wine and universities.

‘Rift will hurt millions’

In late August — by which time Beijing had imposed a crippling 80 per cent tariff on Australian barley exports to China, suspended multiple beef abattoirs and threatened huge tariffs for Australian wine – Minister Wang gave a relatively conciliatory speech about the frayed relationship, which he compared to marriage.

“While a rift between husband and wife hurts one family, a rift between two countries will hurt millions,” he said in August.

The next day, the Morrison government revealed legislation that allowed the federal government to rescind Victoria’s Belt and Road deal.

In November, diplomats at China’s embassy in Canberra circulated a list of 14 grievances with Australia, which included restrictions on Chinese investment, the ban on Huawei’s involvement in the 5G network and investigations into foreign interference.

By the end of 2020, more than $20b of annual Australian exports to China — over 10 per cent of the total — had been banned or interfered.

Minister Wang’s latest speech — titled “It Is So Difficult to be China‘s Friends in Australia Today” — was given at a dinner held by the ACT branch of the Australian China Business Council.

The Chinese diplomat said many of the business association’s members understood his country better than most Australians.

“Maybe you don’t fully agree with our model of governance and administration, but at least you respect and understand the reason behind our development path and model of governance.”

Media blamed for bad sentiment

Minister Wang said much of the bad sentiment in Australia towards China was the media’s fault.

“If these people are immersed by those negative portraits of China by the major media outlets and brainwashed by the vulgarised and simplified political slogans, how would they understand China and agree with your assessment and impression of China.”

He said it was now a “really difficult time to be China’s friend in Australia”.

“Currently, the friends of China are given a nickname ‘panda-hugger’. It used to be a word of appreciation but now it carries derogatory meanings. It seems that being friendly to China, to be a friend of China becomes a sin and mistake in Australia.”

In addition to the media, Minister Wang said the bilateral relationship had been undermined by the suspicions of “a small number of people”, who he did not name.

“The excuse for such suspicion is China’s threats to Australian sovereignty and security, which is totally ridiculous. Because up to today no one single case has been substantiated or supported by evidence,” he said.

“And based on my observation, most of those people are siphoning off Australia’s financial coffer, and they squander on the cornucopia which is the hard-won product of the majority of Australian labour force.”

“When these people were barking loud, our friends had to bite the bullet,” he added.
